Danish Aerospace Company (former Damec Research ApS) was part of the Ørsted Satellite Project design team, which developed a micro satellite for research of the magnetic field of the Earth.
Danish Aerospace Company was responsible for the development, manufacturing and test of the subsystems Attitude Control System electronics, ACS Magnetorquer Coils and Battery System.
Ørsted was sucessfully launched on February 23, 1999.
